Café CIC is the Edmonton Section’s biggest event of the year. Boasting over 80 attendees each year, Café CIC combines chemists’ two favourite things: science and food! From bread to whiskey to ice cream, each year this event highlights a new food group where chemistry is intimately involved in the making of. The evening consists of multiple talks and tastings by experts in the field who teach the attendees about the science behind the food or drink.
